i received my DELL VOSTRO 1510 10days back and installed an original copy XP Professional in it. I have Ge Force 8400 computer peripherals price in my notebook. It doesn’t get heated up much as compared to XPS or ispiron models having Graphics card in them. Its temperature reaches a saturation limit within 30min. of use and it doesn’t get heated up beyond that. It can easily run games like- 1) call of duty4; 2) nfs most wanted; 3) bioshock; 4) nfs carbon; i found the sound quality better than r-52 series of ibm, hp pavillion2401tu, xps 1330, inspiron 1525, inspiron 1520 and inspiron 1420. has a good functional exhaust system. Has an extreme performing 1GBps Ethernet. Has good and strong Wireless system.

Gets heated up within 30minutes of use but it is bearable. Bluetooth range is less than that of R-52 series of IBM. There should have been an option for customizing in the GeForce8600 series. Rest everything is fine.
Additional Thoughts VOSTRO 1510 works excellently well with XP if updated with the latest DirectX files (provided by Microsoft regularly). In all its a great value for money because you cant find a notebook with facilities of upgrading its hardware as compared to VOSTRO and not having VISTA pre-installed in it. Its great having it without any Operating System pre-installed in it. I had to research with all other brands for 6months before ending up with DELL VOSTRO 1510.”
